The Syracuse Juneteenth Board of Directors is proud to announce that planning is officially underway for the 2026 festival. We are working diligently to once again welcome you as we commemorate the significance of June 19, 1865.

What makes celebrating Juneteenth in Syracuse especially meaningful is the deep historical connection of our festival grounds, which were once part of the Underground Railroad. This powerful legacy, combined with the vibrant culture and community spirit of our event, is what has helped establish Syracuse Juneteenth as Central New York’s premier cultural celebration.

This year, the Syracuse Juneteenth Festival will take place in historic Clinton Square, located in the heart of our city. We invite you to join us on June 19th and 20th as we come together to celebrate this powerful and meaningful occasion.
